    Alice Mudiri is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA) and Executive Director of the Beverly School of Kenya. She has worked with the World Health Organization African Region headquarters, the University of Zimbabwe Division of Reproductive Health, the Christian Health Association of Kenya and the Africa Community Action Health Network, and served as acting Chief Operating Officer of the National Council of Non-Governmental Organizations in Kenya. She has taught health policy planning at the Tropical Institute of Community Health, Kenyatta University and the Nativity School in Worcester, Massachusetts.

    Dr Charles Oyaya is the Executive Director of the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA). He is a specialist in governance, health and development planning and public policy, with extensive experience in public health, development planning, poverty analysis, HIV/AIDS, health systems development, social policy and protection, public policy analysis and advocacy, resource mobilisation, peace building, strategic planning, organisational change and operational research across eastern, Horn of Africa and southern Africa. He has undertaken consultancies for governments and national and international agencies, and served as a research and drafting specialist with the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission. His current roles at IDIA and the Great Lakes University of Kisumu combine academic, programme, senior management, research and consultancy leadership.

    Mary Warinda is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA), with experience spanning credit management, research and marketing. She worked in the finance department of DHL Worldwide Express, in credit management and customer care, and served as a volunteer sales and marketing adviser to Africa Health and Development (AHEAD) Management Services.

    Paul Mbanga is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA) and a public health specialist with over 18 years of experience in health and development in Kenya, spanning the Ministry of Health, faith-based organisations and local and international organisations. He holds a PhD in Global Health. He has worked with MEDS as Capacity Building Manager and as Human Resource and Administration Manager, with AfriAfya (Health Knowledge Management and Communications Network for Africa), and with Plan International (Kenya) as Health Adviser.

    Eddy Orinda is a member of the International Advisory Board of the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA). He is Group CEO and Chairman of Africa Trade & Investment Group (ATIG) Limited, Vice-Chairperson and Managing Trustee (Administration and Institutional Development) of the Mazira Foundation, a member of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Law Society of Kenya and of the Institute of Economic Affairs. He previously practised as an advocate and served as President of the Kenya Ukraine Business Association. He studied law at the Kenya School of Law, Odessa National Academy of Law and Kharkov National University.
