Who we are

IDIA College of Health and Development Studies (International Development Institute – Africa) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, the online application and the student portal.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries: your name, contact details and message, to answer your enquiry.
• Applications: the details and documents you provide, to assess your application and, if you are admitted, to create your student record.
• Students: academic, registration and fee records, to deliver your programme, issue results and transcripts, and manage your fee account.
• Newsletter: your e-mail address, only after you confirm your subscription.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary: examining and regulatory bodies for registration and examinations, our payment provider to process fees, and service providers that host our systems under contract. We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and as required by law. Academic and financial records are kept permanently as official records.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to its processing, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Contact us using the details below. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
